Python in process, TypeScript from the typed OpenAPI schema, and a generated client for anything else.
Synpath is a Python library first: install it and the venues are one import away, with no server between you and them. Every other language talks to the REST server, whose OpenAPI schema is fully typed, so a client is generated rather than written.
| SDK | How | Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Python | pip install synpath | Everything: market data, order entry, streams, the execution engine, the server |
| TypeScript | Generated from openapi.json with openapi-typescript | The REST API and the engine events socket |
| Go, Java, Rust, … | Any OpenAPI generator, from the same document | The REST API |
pip install synpath # Python
synpath schema --trading --out openapi.json # the contract, for everyone else
